Chenega Heritage, Inc.
Chenega Heritage was founded in 2006 out of a need to develop the community of Chenega Bay, improve the community’s economy, and support regional development projects. Chenega Heritage is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, allowing Chenega Corporation to invest greater amounts of resources into the communities and organizations they support from the revenues earned by participating in federal contracting and other commercial ventures.
The priorities of Chenega Heritage are to promote and preserve the cultural heritage of the native peoples of the Prince William Sound region and to provide educational opportunities to those peoples.
The Directors for Chenega Heritage are Paul T. Selanoff, Michael Vigil, and Pete Kompkoff, Jr.
